It's my journey

Let's dive in

The beginning

Hi, I’m Gaurav Thube, a 3D artist and interior designer. Let me take you through my journey. It all began in 2010 when I completed my B.Com degree. While commerce was interesting, I soon realized that my true passion lay elsewhere. From 2011 to 2013, I immersed myself in the study of design. Those two years were transformative, opening my eyes to the endless possibilities of creativity.

Armed with new skills and a fresh perspective, I stepped into the professional world in 2013. For three years, I worked diligently, gaining invaluable experience and honing my craft. By 2016, I knew it was time to take a leap of faith. Since 2017, I’ve been living my dream, working as a freelance 3D artist and interior designer. It’s been an exhilarating journey, full of challenges and rewards.

Early Career

Passion for Art and Design

Art has always been my first love. Even as a child in school, I was drawn to two subjects: drawing and history. These subjects sparked my imagination and set me on a creative path. One of my fondest memories is decorating for the Ganpati festival. The joy I found in creating beautiful, festive decorations inspired me to become an interior designer. That passion still fuels my work today.

My love for Indian culture and history is a constant source of inspiration. I relish visiting historical places across India, each trip enriching my understanding and appreciation of our heritage. The north side of India, with its stunning landscapes and rich history, holds a special place in my heart. This cultural immersion often reflects in my designs, adding depth and character to my work.

Personal Interests and Inspirations

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me engaged in sports, particularly cricket and basketball. These games keep me active and energized. I also have a deep connection with nature. Visiting serene landscapes and beautiful beaches is my way of rejuvenating. Nature’s beauty is a continuous source of inspiration, influencing my designs with organic forms and natural hues.

Speaking of hues, I have a particular fondness for blue, orange, and beige. These colors resonate with me and frequently appear in my projects. They bring a sense of calm, energy, and elegance, respectively. My designs aim to evoke these emotions, creating spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable.

Family and Community

Family and friends are my pillars of support. I cherish the time spent with them, as it brings balance to my life. Their encouragement and love keep me grounded and motivated. I’m also a fan of traditional Western music, animation movies, manga books, and comics. These interests not only entertain me but also provide fresh perspectives and ideas for my work.

With over a decade of experience in the interior design field, I pride myself on my attention to detail and deep study of each project. I believe in the importance of continuous learning, always staying updated with the latest trends and techniques. This commitment to excellence ensures that every project I undertake is executed to the highest standards.

Professional Ethos

The Pune City

Living in Pune, Maharashtra, is a blessing. This city is a treasure trove of historical and cultural landmarks that never cease to amaze me. Places like Parvati Hill and Sarasbaag offer serene escapes from the bustling city life, while the majestic Dagadusheth Ganpati Temple, Taljai Mandir, Chaturshrungi temple are a constant reminder of Pune’s rich spiritual heritage.

Shanivar Wada, Vishrambag Wada and Mahadji Shinde chatri with their grand architecture and historical significance, inspire my designs and feed my love for history. These places, each with its unique charm, make Pune not just a city I live in, but a source of endless inspiration and joy.

Conclusion

In essence, my journey from a commerce graduate to a passionate 3D artist and interior designer has been fueled by love for art, culture, and continuous learning. Each project is a new adventure, a canvas where I blend inspiration from nature, history, and personal experiences. Thank you for taking the time to learn about my story. I look forward to creating many more beautiful and inspiring spaces in the years to come.
